Oct 15- Describe food related customs you grew up on and how it reflects your familys values.

Response- In my culture my parents are big on using manners and eating together every night. I grew up putting my napkin in my lap and finishing my plate. It may seem like common manners but that is how I was raised to eat. My parents are also big on finishing the portions they give me, if I didn't eat all the food they gave me it was seen as disrespectful/ ungrateful. My family taught me to be polite and have manners because if I were to eat at someone else's house I would wanna come off as respectful.

Summary- In class we worked on writable and watched a short film.

Reflection- I learned about other peoples food customs they grew up on.
