Sep 29-Write about a conversation that changed you. What was said, and why did that conversation have such a lasting impact on you?

Response- I conversation that changed me was in freshmen year with my friend. I would always complain about the same toxic situation and I always went to my friend for advice. One day she straight out went off on me, called me stupid and told me if I wasn't going to follow her advice I needed to stop coming to her about it. It was harsh and at the time I took it to heart and just stopped telling her about it. For a while what she said stayed with me, I kind of took offense with the way she said it but she definitely got her point across. She opened my eyes and eventually I got over it and dropped the situation.

Summary- In class Mr Rease read our responses and I was embarrassed because that response was not for real, I was joking like he didn't have to read it word for word.

Reflection- I learned that violence isn't the answer if someone offends you.
